Cross version restore compatibility

Hello,

I have been having some issues trying to locate a definitive answer as to wether Backup Exec 10.0 can read and restore from Backup Exec 9.1 recorded media.
While I understand this should be the case, is there any documented evidence that this is supported?

Backupexec 10.0 and read and restore from BE 9.x Tapes as the catag format is same.



The catalog format, which is used by Backup Exec is Microsoft Tape Format (MFT). The database engine writes the MTF catalogs which are stored both on the storage media and on the Backup Exec for Windows server.
