Hi,
Customer W2K Server (non-domain) registry crashed. Have Backup Exec v8.6 nightly backups, but can't restore the SystemState, data is there, getting permission errors. Already posted under following title with no success.

Can't Restore System State Registry to Windows 2000 using BE SBS v8.6

What support options are available? Is there a pay as you go option? Can anyone recommend local Backup Exec support in central NJ?

Hi,

There would be 2 really:

1. Customer has a support agreement with Symantec, meaning you can log a call as a P1 (production down in their terms), and they will help you.

2. You will have to pay for support, and most likely have some sort of PO available for them to do this...

Laters!

BE8.6 is NOT supported anymore, I dont think even Symantec would assist regardless of support contract in hand.
