D2D rotation scheme help

I'm pretty new to BE, but have read through the forums and documentation (especially document 237374). Basically, I want an approximate 2 week retention for backup data. I've illustrated my rotation schedule at this link: www.ahrenstorff.us/rotation.pdf

The Weekly media set has Overwrite protection for 13 days and the Append period is 5 days. The Weekly job runs only on Sundays as is a Full backup.

The Daily media set has Overwrite protection for 8 days and the Append period is 5 days. The Daily job runs Monday-Saturday and is incremental with data appending to this media beginning on Tuesday and ending on Saturday.

Does this rotation scheme make sense or have I misunderstood things? The concept of storing on disk, but using the term "media set" is not very intuitive.
