I encountered this error when performing a "Duplicate Backup Sets" job. The tapes are created with backup exec too and they are LTO-3 tapes. I can successfully using the tape drive to backup anything. Just have this error when performing a "Duplicate Backup Sets" job for a disk folder to tapes.
