Clients: Office 2007 SP1 or Office 2003 SP3, Windows XP SP3, DLO 2.0.133.5801
Server: Windows Server 2003 SBS SP2, Backup Exec 10d SP4

I’ve reinstalled the client and get the same issue.
If I close Outlook and reopen DLO, DLO will work fine.
We do not backup PST’s or OST files. We do not backup the Application Data area in Documents and Settings where these files exist so the problems does not appear to be related to corrupt PSTs.
Thanks
Jonpy

Hi Zaki

I've already checked out this document, it applies to Backup Exec 12.5 and this customer is using 10d.

Do you have any information specific to 10d?

Thanks

Jonpy

I have the same problem. I installed the hotfix for this (323894) but it still does the same thing. I pushed the agent install and it said it had updates and completed successfully but it still does not work. Add remove programs says the hotfix is installed on the server yet it does not show up in the C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Agents\RAWSX64\updates folder. It also does not show up in the pushlist.lst file as an update sent out to the machine in question. This is an X64 server 2003 standard server and an XP X64 workstation running Backup exec 12.5. I am also wondering why the agent on the XP X64 machine is installed in the Program Files (x86) folder. Shouldn’t the agent on an X64 box be an X64 app in the Program Files folder? Now the push agent says there are no updates needed for this workstation yet the DLO file versions on the workstation are not the new versions from the hotfix. What now?

I am using BKUP EXEC 12.5 with SP2.

All Vista machines with Outlook 2007 SP1 works fine, but not on XP SP2 or SP3 with Outlook 2007 SP1.

As according to this document: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/323991.htm it says 12.5 with SP2 will solve this issue but it is not.

The only option i have is to stop incremental update for PST files. This will solve the problem. I still will want to hear from Symantec that they will look into this and do something to it.
