How can I fix this?

My daily backups are being over written be the following days backup.

I think the problem is because its using the same Media Label. Yesterdays backup media label is xxx00001 and when todays backup run xxx00001 is overwritten with xxx00001.  The Media Set properties for my media is set to 13 days overwrite protection.  The overwrite protection level is set to full. Whats missing?

My setup is;

Bexec 11d.

Backup to disk (Max 14 backups per disk)

Overwrite protection set to FULL.

Thanks guys!

From Tools\Options\Media Management, verify that the Global Overwrite is set to FULL or PARTIAL

Then from the Media Tab, right click the media set that you are writing to

Set the OPP (Overwrite Protection Period) to however long you need to retain data.  To keep it for two weeks, set 13 days etc
