Hello everyone, I am getting a an error during database maintenance:
V-287-10
Maintenance has failed: 10, dump database failed.
I have followed the support article that was linked with the following results:
-Database consistency check fails
-Database repair succeeds
-Subsequent database consistency check fails
These are the articles I have tried (both link to the same article)
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH58982
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH64797
I wasn't sure what to do from here. The article only says to continue if the repair failed, but since it succeeded, I don't know what I should do.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

As your extensive repair to database completed successfully, you no need to proceed to the third step mentioned in the TN.
You can run the consistency check. If it completes successfully, you can check database maintainace to ensure that there is no errors...

Yes:
-Database consistency check fails
-Database repair succeeds
-Subsequent database consistency check fails
So, while the repair succeeds, I am still failing the consistency checker and maintenance is still failing. I even tried the 3rd step and the consistency check still fails.

Verify that SQL SERVER (INSTANCENAME) is running as Local System and not the Domain Administrator.

I changed it from admin to Local System account. I then ran another repair. The consistency checker still failed.

Have you restarted the service after changing it to local system account?
