Dedup backups for VHDX

On Backup Exec 2014 is backup to dedup supported for VHDX ?

My client has Backup Exec 2014 installed on a Windows server 2012 server. Hyper - V host running Windows server 2012 R2. Hyper - v clients are either Windows server 2012 or Windows server 2012 R2.

While backing up the client machines using Agent for Windows it is successfull. However when the backup is performed using agent for Hyper V, it gives exception for client side dedup.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Uninstall the remote agents from the VM's and re-install them.  This time without client-side dedup.  Try again.
