I get almost 40gb of data per tape by using backup exec 8 or ntbackup, but only get about 19gb when using backup exec 10 or 10d. I've done all the stuff listed on this forum & know it's a known problem that veritas has choosen to ignore.
I thought with the upgrade from 10 to 10d that that problem might be solved. I was wrong. I since tried to install veritas drivers for my tape drive & even though it says it installed correctly, the driver still listed in my tape drive properties in device manager are certance drivers from 2004. How do I get the veritas drivers to take?"

In reply to your question.. Yes I do have several event Id's 7 & 9, plus a few 15's. What do this mean & what do I need to do?
I have paid support, but choose not to wait on the phone. Your phone support guys deffered me to this forum. I have a paid support plan & expect to get treated as such.
