Hello,

Go to the alerts tab and check what are the alerts that you are getting?
Also in the Backup job properties ,under Device and Media ,have you unchecked the option eject media after job completes?

Hi tejashree

I don;t have tape eject in any of my schedule job.

The message am getting is to remove the tape from the unit to insert a overwritable tape.

What I want to do is change the behavior so I control when the tape should be ejected???

Thanks

Hello,

The alert " please insert overwriteable media" may occurs when media in the
slot is overwrite protected.
In a backup job when it spans on the second tape, then depending upon the
settings it will check the overwriteable media from local media set or scratch media set.

What are your local media set properties?
