Please could someone give me some definitive advice on when to use AOFO and when not to, and what settings to use when I do use it?
I'm backing up my Exchange Information Store, Mailboxes and Public Folders using the Exchange agent, with AOFO off.
I assume I need AOFO on to backup the operating system (Windows 2003) and Active Directory, to ensure that any open files get backed up?
I have ploughed through large swathes of the admin guide, as well as other threads on this forum, but find the admin guide ambiguous and incomplete in places, and I'm not 100% . Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
