I am running into an issue that I can not find a solution for. We have 2 main backup exec servers each one has their own backup to disk and the tape backups. Now I created a new device pool lets call it SAN_DISKS and added all the backup to disk devices from both servers on it. Once a backup starts it is not pooling from all the disks if one runs out of space it is not utilizing the other one. Same thing appears to be happening with the tape configuration. Any insight to this would be great.
Also when I try to do a restore it locates the tapes and by default I have a pool for all devices across the server but it will not connect to the correct one instead I just get device paused if I switch to the server name instead of using the device pool it works.
