Do I need to buy Exchange Agent

We have bought Symantec Backup Exec 11d Multi-Server Suite. We have 2 windows servers that we need to backup. On one of those servers, we have installed Backup Exec (above). This server is the domain server with Exchange 2003 on it.

Do I need to buy the Exchange Server agent? My rep from Dell said that this product should cover me. Please advise.

I assume the "Multi-Server Suite" is a Dell bundle? If it contains the Exchange Agent, you should probably have a serial number for it. If not, then is possible to backup Exchange without the agent, but it's easier with the agent. See http://www.backupexecfaq.com/articles/concepts/backing-up-microsoft-exchange.html
