We're using BE 2010 R2. We just purchased 6 identical USB external drives. 2 for DAILY and 4 for WEEKLY. One DAILY and one WEEKLY drive plugged in every week and they're rotated weekly. We created 2 drive pools: DAILY POOL (includes DailyDrive1, DailyDrive2) & WEEKLY POOL (includes WkDrive1,2,3,4). For some reason BE detects DailyDrive1 and added it under WEEKLY POOL. We're using B2D Folder. What would be the way to set these drives accordingly. Any advice would be much appreciated? Thanks.

1) Check that your disks do not have the same diskid's. If they have to same diskid's, change them. See the blog below

2) I would suggest that you upgrade to BE 2010 R3 which is the latest version. Your existing licence keys will work. You can download BE 2010 R3 from either the fileconnect site or

You got a corrupted ISO. Try downloading the ISO from here
http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso
It is the same thing.

Got the same error... not sure why. Maybe I need to burn to DVD or use Virtual Drive?
I used MagicISO Maker freeware, and could mount the iso file. Installing.
Thanks for your help!

To ensure that the downloaded ISO is o.k., use an ISO program and extract the contents to a directory. You can then run the installation from that directory.
I vaguely recall that the browser problem is caused by using a newer version of IE.
