Dual nic card in a server. Setting up a backup network.

I was trying to find out what needs to be in place to setup a backup network on a different subnet than my regular network. We have backup exec 10.0 and have remote agent for servers to backed remotely over the wire. I guess the request is how backup exec will perform name resolution.

Hello,

While creating the backup job, go to the tab 'network', there you find an option to choose an available network card or to choose a specific network card. You can thus take your pick.
