Duplicate B2D to Tape fails.

We are running Backup Exec v11d rev 6235.

We are running a synthetic weekly job to disk, which completes with a few exceptions. However the Duplicate to Tape job fails with the following error:

Error : 80004005 - Unspecified error
For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-32768-16389

The link does not exist for v-79 ....

I have found a B2D volume, that I can make an Inventory of, but can not do a Catalog. The Catalogjob fails with the same error as above.

What is creating the problem and how can I duplicate the Weekly job to Tape?

The duplicate job will always fail if you are unable to catalog the media. Duplicate jobs rely on that information to copy the data to the destination device.

Are there any errors in your System/Application Event viewer logs on the system where the B2D folder resides? It sounds like there may be a problem reading the data on that drive.
