Does anyone know if it's possible to configure the duplicate jobs to not start unless it's able to allocate all the devices needed?
I have multiple backup jobs running and they kick off their respective duplicate job at the completion of the backup job. I only have two tape drives and that's not a problem during the backup process because each backup job just uses one tape drive. The duplicate job needs to use both tape drives because it reads from one and writes to the other. Now to the problem, which is sometimes I will have multiple duplicate jobs waiting and two of them will start with each one grabing one of the tape drives and waiting for a free drive but since each duplicate job already has one drive and waiting for the other tape drive to free up what ends up is a deadlock between the two duplicate job and I have to cancel one of them.
