Duplicate job with encryption fails

When I duplicate a job to tape without encryption enabled the job completes without error.

When I enable encryption the job fails after about 15 minutes, with first a 'Communication Stalled" status and then an error of e00081d9 - The Backup Exec job engine system service is not responding. For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-33241

We will need more Information from you.

- What are you backing up?
- Is it a remote Backup or a local?
- Is the error specific to a Folder/ File / Server?
- Under what account are your Services running?

The only question that MAY have any bearing is the last one.

He clearly stated that he was DUPLICATING to tape. With encryption NOT enabled the job completes normally

When he enables encryption, he gets the error he specified

What is the error you are getting in the event logs?

Have you installed HF 2 and HF 6 on the media server?
