Error installing Mac Agent

I get this error when installing the agent in Terminal:


./installrams: line 13: [: too many arguments

I found one old thread with the identical message. No solution. I've enabled the root user, and have the directory structure on the server. Cant figure out where to go from here.

So much for forum help. Doesn't anyone from Symantec ever read these boards?

I've bought the product and can't make it work properly. What do I do? Just throw the license in the trash?

Even an idea of something to try would be appreciated.

After a few weeks trying to sort it out with symantec we finaly got it.

Tha instructions in the manual are correct to install from the CD, the case is that the CD never works, so symantec recommends you download directly from the MAC server the file containing the agent, extract and from the folder it is extracted desktop/cdimage in my cade run the

sudo ./installrams

sudo is necessary as you need root access to install the agent. Even this way, just before the instalation begins I still get the ...too many arguments... error. But the installation goes on and is succesful.

Hope this helps, as there is no documentation at all on this matter and symantec does not have the appropriate people to support this case, probab ly because we were the only people in the planet who bought this product.
