Exchange 2007 running on 2003 R2 Server.
Full backup runs OK Problem ocurres during Differenctial Backups.
For each Storace Groups instance the following sequence is registered....
Event ID 2010 .... Instance Starting. This will be a Differential Shadow Copy
Event ID: 9812 .... Exchange VSS Writer (instance XX) has successfully prepared the database engine....The following 1 databases are mounted (though they will not be backed up):...
Event ID: 9608 .... VSS Writer has prepared for SnapShot successfully
Event ID: 2001 .... Information Store (XXXX) Shadow copy instance XX freeze started
Event ID: 9610 .... VSS Writer has frozen the storage group successfully
Event ID: 2003 .... Information Store (XXXX) Shadow copy instance XX freeze ended.
Event ID: 9612 .... VSS Writer has thawed the storage group successfully
Event ID: 9622 .... VSS Writer has processed the post-snapshot event successfully.
Event ID: 2007 .... Information Store (XXXX) Shadow copy instance XX aborted.
Event ID: 9648 .... VSS Writer has processed the backup shutdown event successfully.
Any Ideas on what could be casing this error? Is backup of databases (or transaction Logs) actually taking place? Should we do Incremental Backups instead?
