Error when setting up Exchange Continuous protection

I am trying to set up a backup that includes continuous transaction log protection. The exchange server is a Clustered Virtual Exchange server. The backup to disk folder is on the backup system.

When I try and submit the job, I get "Error creating job". Error 0xe01f00d was returned from the Backup Exec Continuous Protection server application when creating the CPS job. etc etc.

I am not using an IP address as suggested by the error.

The Alert window on the the Continous Protection Server console doesn't contain any errors.

I have run LiveUpdate since getting the error, and it applied hotfixes, but these haven't made any difference.

Can anyone give me any pointers on what to try?

The CPS Software Conpatibility List states that continuous protection of a clustered Exchange server isnt supported, so it most likely isnt going to work.
