We met problem in recovering exchange store to Recovery Storage Group. All techical details are on:

It's actial also to Symantec Veritas Backup Exec version 12.
We see:
This issue only occurs if the database is restored to a storage group other than the original.
But the idea is to recover not to original storage but to Recovery Storage Group.
