Adamm Mover Error: GetDriveInfo Failure
ERROR=ERROR_IO_DEVICE
Drive="QUANTUM 1"

Get this error when I try to start a backup in Backup Exec 10 on Windows 2003 server.

External Dell Powervault 110T running on a Dell Perc 4e/DI RAID Controller.

Was backing up at first but now will not. Says there is media in drive in the device menu.

Tried disabling SCSI pass-through mode but it did not work.

Two Drives show in the devices menu, Quantum 1 and Dell 1, Dell 1 never shows as having any media but says it has written 3.57GB and performed 2 mounts, Quantum says 3.66Gig and 2 mounts and shows when media is inserted.

Any help would be great as its driving me mad.

Backup Exec does not support devices attached to SCSI RAID or embedded controllers!

You need a standalone SCSI card!Message was edited by:
