Event ID Errors 11, 12289 and 1005

I just installed a new Seagate LTO drive after removing a DDS4. I removed the DDS4 drivers and loaded the most current Veritas drivers. I'm receiving the following event errors: 11, 12289 and 1005. I've provided the details of these events below. I've also searched this newsgroup and Microsoft newsgroups but have found no references to this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Here the event source is VSS. So you can try backing up Shadow Copy Components with ntbackup and compare the results.

Ensure that all writer statuses with this technote.

How to troubleshoot the error "A failure occurred querying the Writer status" (a000fed1 HEX or e000fed1 HEX) using VSSADMIN

http://support.veritas.com/docs/261993

If the device drive that you are using is compatible but not tested with backup exec you may want to install the OEM drivers after uninstalling the Veritas drivers.

However ensure that this is not a device issue. Ensure you do not have event IDs 5,7,9,11,15 on the SCSI card or the drivers under System Logs.

If this is the case, get the device checked from the Hardware Manufacturer. Check it for SCSI terminations and proper cabling.
