Exch 2003 "V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory"

When I try to backup my exchange 2003 mailboxes with a brick level backup, all my mailboxes are backed up except for one. Many of the messages in that one mailbox are backed up successfully, but at some point, the subdirectories begin to fail with the error:
V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory John DoeTop of Information StoreInboxVerizon and its subdirectories. This user has well over 500 subfolders under his inbox, and the errors seems to appear after the 500th one. Is there a known issue with backup exec and a high number of mail folders?

Thanks,
Brian

Take a look at these articles:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/271186 and Microsoft KB article 830829.

Brick level backups run as MAPI clients. And there is a number of restrictions applying to MAPI clients. Among these are a maximum of 500 folders. You can also find a event in the Excahnge serveres Application log telling you that the parameter in question is objtFolders.
