Hi we are running a combo forest of Exchange 2000 and 2007. In our branch office where we use exchange 2000 we are having diffulties to restore a user's mailbox.
The backup was created on the 11th with the backup user credentials, on the 13th we attempted several times to restore the backup but at all times it returns the error message:
e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online.....
The mailserver is up and running and the same user account to backup the server is used to perform the restore. The backup has been checked and contains the information needed.
I've already tried:

All without any success.
The Backup account has full access to the mail server and passes the checks.
