Exchange 2007 backup always uses VSS ?????!!!?

Hi there,
 
I want to start a streaming (legacy) backup of my Exchange 2007 databases, but somehow Backup Exec always creates a VSS snapshot backup even though I did not enable 'advanced open file' or 'advanced disk-based backups'... Anyone know what is going on here??

Backup Exec will only use VSS.
