Exchange Backup Job fails: The VSS Writer failed

I have a Microsoft Exchange backup and it is causing a problem. The following is the error:

Backup-  - AOFO: Initialization failure on: "Microsoft Information Store\Mailbox Database". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).

Snapshot provider error (0xE000FED1): A failure occurred querying the Writer status.

Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.

Writer Name: Exchange Server, Writer ID: {76FE1AC4-15F7-4BCD-987E-8E1ACB462FB7}, Last error: The VSS Writer failed, but the operation can be retried (0x800423f3), State: Waiting for backup complete notification (5).

If I restart the server the next backup will be successfully. But then only the first or first and secound backup will be succesful and they will start to fail again.

How can I solve this issue as I have to keep on restarting the server daily?

check this:

In command prompt

vssadmin list writers

If you have any error on writer restart VSS with the problem...
