Hi

we have 1 CAS/HT and 2 MBX Server named MBX1 and MBX3.

we take regular backup using Backup Exec 2012 as below,

Sunday Full and Monday to Friday Incremental.

Now I want to restore a Mailbox on MBX1 Server called DSPT from 17 th June 2012 Sunday Full Backup.

I have Configured the restore task as below,

Select the Mailbox from 17th June 2012 Full Backup

Restore to a different location -> on MBX3 Server

Redirect to a PST File and given the path -> PST\ ( PST Folder is created on MBX3 server)

and the rest settings as required

The Task Runs and Completed Successfully but when i go to that PST folder on MBX3 it shows nothing their.

Job Log Report shows that the task completed successfully.

Regards

Devang

In the Job log does it shows the number of byte counts restored? Or it says something like 0 Bytes restored? Please check the same.

Thanks,

If restoring using the redirect to PST option, the target system does not have to be Exchange server but does have to be running our remote agent and crucially have MS Outlook installed. Do you have Outlook installed?(bearing in mind that MS do not recommend installing Outlook on an Exchange server?)
