Error I am getting is "The job failed with the following error: A memory allocation request failed. The computer may be running low on virtual memory."
I have 6 gig of virtual memory
Error is coming up prior to Backup Exec checking which tape is in the drive
I am attempting to recover specific folders is an individuals mailbox
The server is Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition w/Service Pack 2
Exchange is Server 2007 Version 08.01.0291.001 -- SP1
I found an earlier post from 11/07 (https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=115&message.id=11013) and have cleared the power shell event viewer and altered EdgeTransport.exe.conf. The rollup is included in the service packs for exchange
I'm stumped -- any help would be greatly appreciated

if you attempt a GRT restore from tape, BackupExec restores the entire store to TEMP space, then extracts the desired info
How much free space do you have on the drive that the temp space is on?

Silly Question -- How do I determine which drive it is using for the TEMP space?
either 8.5g, 183g or 988g open

From the Admin Guide, page 1261
To enter the path, on the Restore Job Properties pane, under Settings, click Advanced, and then enter a path in Path on media server for staging temporary restore data when restoring individual items from tape. For more information about this path, see “Advanced options for restore jobs” on page 494.

I changed the path to the 900g drive and am still getting the same error
