Exchange jobs completes with an exception

Hello All,

We have been getting exceptions for exchange server backup. Has anyone come across this exception message?

exception: 

Resource \\<servername>\Microsoft Information Store\was found in the previous instance of this job, but it is not present in this job.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your reply. We are using symantec backup exec 2014. Is there any solution available for it

Make sure the backup Account been added to Exchange Organization Administrators and the Exchange Mangement Tools ( same version level as on the Exchange server) are installed on the media server.

Edit the backup job and do you see the Information Store listed in the backup selections ? if yes, do you receive any error while selecting and expanding the Information Store ?
