I have a 2003 Server with Backup Exec 2010 installed, and I'm having problems installing Remote Agent for 2008 R2 servers. I've been successful in install the Remote Agent (v13) onto 2008 and 2003 servers perfectly fine, however, installing it on a 2008 R2 has been failing.
On further digging this issue in symantec forums, i found an issue similar to mine with the Symantec Support Case Ref 484 804 582, I think it has resolved the issue also. My case is exactly the same, Downloaded the (ISOX4) files from Symantec Fileconnect, made a DVD and this DVD, Tried puching and manually installing the Remote Agent (RAWSx64), but it fails with the error code 1620.
Solution to the above mentioned case is that Symantec people somehow uploaded a newly compiled RAWSx64 setup file, but how can it be downloaded. OR if there is any other solution, kindly help me out.
