Failed SQL backup after v10.0d upgrade

Backing up our live SQL server earlier has always been successful, but after upgrading to version 10d it's unsuccessful.
----
--> Database * was not found, or could not be accessed.
--> The item * in use - skipped.
----

We DO have a valid SQL license installed.
I've tried doing only a SQL backup of one of our databases on our SQL-server, but it still fails.
Backing up databases on other than our SQL server is fine though.

Anyone see a fix for this?

To know the exact issue, please mention the exact error message from the backup job log.

Is SQL installed on the same server of Backup Exec or its a remote server ?

What is the version of SQL ?

I managed to solve it.

...had to register a SQL DLL file.
