I'm using BackupExec 11d build 7170 since August 07 running on my Exchange Server. I've had numerous problems with my Exchange backups from a 63 hour successful backup for 60 gig to very inconsistent auto backups. I think I've resolved those problems but I continue to have numerous (every 2 seconds) entries in my application event viewer called "FAILURE AUDIT" . The source is MSSQL$BKUPEXEC event ID 18456 and the User is my Exchange administrator account.
I haven't changed any permissions from my previous backupexec version - passwords haven't changed on my Exchange administrator account either. Any suggestions on what I can do to resolve this failure audit entry in event viewer?
