Did you mean:

File Not accessed but only certain type of file

Hi,

I'm running backup exec 2010 R3 on a server 2008 machine.

I have folder that contains two types of files type A and type B.  Type A are created and accessed on a daily basis and type B are created every Saturday.

I want to backup type A files daily but not Type B but I only want to backup files that have been accessed and created in the last two days.

Is this possible?  I think what I need is:

Exclude Files not accessed in 2 days

But also

Include all Type A files.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob,

Yes it is possible. You can set that exclusion to 2 days, but also put in a separate inclusion for file Type A.

You'd do this on your selection list.

Thanks!

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the reply.  Do you mean you could have:

\\SERVER\E:\Folder\*.TYPEA /SUBDIR

& have

\\SERVER\E:\Folder\*.TYPEA /SUBDIR /EXCLUDE /ACCESSDAYS:02

...I think that is the syntax, yes. There is also a tick button where you can select the number of days.
