Final error: 0xe0009585 - Unable to open a disk of the virtual machine.

I have been getting this error: Final error: 0xe0009585 - Unable to open a disk of the virtual machine, on certain backup jobs.  Sometimes the backup will suceed, sometimes it will fail with this error, which is what makes this difficult to pin point.  This job is being run with the hot-add feature.  The error log shows this error:

VDDK-Warn: DISKLIB-FLAT : Open: Failed to dismount physical drive 5. Perhaps its volumes have open files on them?

Also, if the referenced solutions in the above Technote don't resolve the issue run a repair on Backup Exec and recreate the job.

Make sure the disks of that VM is in a supported format. See the SCL below http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH217478
