Growing Page File Crashes Server

When a 250 GB drive on a WS2k3 Std Server (with sp1 and all updates) is backed up, at about 200 GB, the backed up server's Page File suddenly grows, and before I allocated more page file memory, its growth was causing the server to crash hard.

Why does BENT cause the page file to grow so much, and why is it still large after backup was completed?

Hello,

Do you get any errors when the page file grows? Are there any errors in the Windows event logs? Since when does the problem occur? Are you using the Advanced open file option? What is the total amount of memory on the server? Refer to the following technote in order to check the installation requiremets:
