When WS2k3 Std Server is backed up, at about 200 GB, the backed up server's Page File suddenly grows and it occupied all the physical memory and paging file. After back complete, it will not release the memory and it still keep large. The memory usage is grow every day, about 3 to 4 weeks its growth was causing the server to crash.
Why does BackupExec cause the page file to grow so much, and why is it still large after backup was completed?
