HP 1/8 Ultrium 960 Autoloader, Backup job queues with no error

I have an HP 1/8 Ultrium 960 Autoloader, running Backup Exec 10d with latest hotfix 46. I have a job set up and when I run it, either when it is scheduled or run now. It starts and then goes to queued within about 10 - 20 secs. I have tapes in multiple slots, I have partitioned the autoloader.

I can not find anything that will help me with this.

Do you get any Alert messages appearing (they might not actually pop up so check the Alerts section), do the tapes show up in the slots as being available to be overwritten (eg shown in blue)?

No, there are no alert messages that show up. Yes the tapes are available to be overwritten, they do show up in blue.

The job, initializes, does the backup scan and then queues and sits there.

Well there goes the nice easy options!

Are there any messages showing up on the autoloader itself? Lame suggestion I know but have you tried restarting the autoloader and the media server (or at least the backup exec services)?
