Looks like I found my answer.

What is the storage capacity of my SDLT drive?
See Chart Below:
SDLT 220
Native Storage Capacity 110 GB
Compressed Storage Capacity 220 GB
(2:1 Compression)
SDLT 320
Native Storage Capacity 160 GB
Compressed Storage Capacity 320 GB
(2:1 Compression)
SDLT 600
Native Storage Capacity 300 GB
Compressed Storage Capacity 600 GB
(2:1 Compression)
The older HP tape case says 220-320GB*, which is misleading. You assume they mean 220 without compression and 320 - with, while it actually mean 220 and 320 with compression depending on what drive you use.
The question I now have is this: if I go into a tape properties (in the media set), and click on the ... buttong next to Media Type, I can choose DLT, but under Select Sub-type I don't have SDLT-I (160GB). The largest size I have is 110GB.
Can anyone confirm if v10 or 9.1 with the latest SP have SDLT-1 (160GB)?
Thanks.
