Hi there,
By default, the staging location for the restore is C:\Temp. I'd do the following:
1. Make sure you're not using AOFO in your job, and if you are, turn it off. Run a backup, and then try the restore again.
2. Run an update of the media server, and then push the updates out to the remote servers you might be backing up. Try the restore again.
3. Try duplicating the restore to disk manually, and then restoring from disk. If you don't know how, read my article below which will help you.
