How can I manually remove AOFO?

We have be 10.0 v5484 on a W2k file server that once had AOFO installed and working. It was disabled a few months ago, but at that time it was working. I tried enabling the feature again, only to get messages that the evaluation copy had expired(we have 4 licenses for AOFO and it's being used on 3 servers). I tried removing the serial through the wizard but kept getting an error message states that the media can't be found.

Can I remove the serial any other way and then re-add it later?

Will the uninstall require I reboot (I believe it does if I remember correctly), which means I couldn't do this until Friday.
