How can I reschedule weekly backup, or re-create a new weekly backup.

I need help, I worked at a client company, I would like to inquire about Network Accses Storage (NAS). Here we are using Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3. we were scheduled to make two types of backups, the first is a daily backup, and the second is a weekly backup. Last week, I accidentally had canceled a scheduled weekly backup. I experienced problems now is how can I reschedule weekly backup, or re-create a new weekly backup, so that both can run back to normalcy.

I have tried to recreate a new weekly backup, but failed because they asked about the administrative password. and I do not know about these things.

Hi,

Open up the Weekly job, and close it...this should reschedule it.

If you don't know the admin password, you might have to consider resetting the Backup Exec service account password in Active Directory, and then use BEutility to change this in BE itself.
