How is default order determined when setting up a backup job?

If I set up a job and select let's say 10 servers for backup, how does Veritas determine the default backup order of the 10 servers? I'm guessing alphabetically? If I manaully change the order does it retain it for all future backups? Also, if I add a server to the job at some later point in time, will it be automatically added at the end of the job or will Veritas insert it somewhere within the job at its own discretion?

From what i've seen Veritas puts the servers in the order that you select them. If you change the order it will retain those changes. If you add a server to the list it will add it at the end of the job, but it can be moved.

That is exactly my impression as well, but my supervisor is looking for definitive answers from a "Veritas" source.

Can a Veritas tech person confirm that thisis correct?

For what it's worth though, I'd bet money we're right.
