How to backup Linksys NAS using Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 Rev.5484?

 Is there a way to backup a Linksys NAS using Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 Rev. 5484?

We've used the NAS as a shared drive and we want to backup this resource using Veritas.  Is this possible?

 I dont think it is.  If I remember right you cant becuase the Linksys NAS has an incompatible NDMP running on it.
You can created a user defined selecton to and try to back it up.

You should be able to create a "User Defined Share" and connect as an  Admin on the NAS box

You will need a RAWS serial installed on the media server, even tho you cannot instal the code itself on the NAS
