Hi,
I currently have a Windows Server 2008 running Backup Exec 2012. One of the jobs that exec executes is to backup a legacy Windows 2000 server. The backup is completing successfully although it gives the following error every time; "V-79-57344-3844 - The Backup Exec server was unable to connect to the Remote Agent on machine *server-name-here*.
This is due to the fact that Backup exec does not support Windows 2000 and there isn't a remote agent installed on the server. Without removing the "Job Completed with Exceptions" alert, is there a way of having this job ignore the fact that there isn't a remote agent on the server so that I don't get the alert via email every time the job completes?
Any help would be much appreciated!
