How to find media for a particular backup

Hello,

 We are using Backup Exec for Windows Servers Version 10.0 Rev. 5484. We run incremental backups daily and a full backup on the weekends. We would like move the full backups off site once a month. My question is, how do I know what media tapes are needed for a particular full backup? I first looked at the job history for the full backup and it said the media label was A0000005 (see image). Then I looked at the restore job screen and it says the media labels for that full backup are A0000004 and A0000006 (see image). Am I looking in the right places?

Do you target your full backups to a different media set? If not, then do so. Then set the vault rules for the media set.

Then run a "Send media to vault report" on a scheduled interval. Also do a "Retrieve media from vault" report.

Then you just let BE tell you what tapes to send and retrieve.

Why do the working out yourself when you can get BE to do it for you? :)

Thank you for your suggestion and the link to the FAQ. They are both very helpful. I will try to set it up like you have suggested, that should solve the problem.
