illegal xml character

Illegal xml character.

1619: E:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Data\BEX_NT4_00852.xml

I get this when selecting the properties of a backup job that has failed.  I cannot figure out why it is failing without the xml report.

does anyone know how to get around this error?  I am only able to get error reports as .txt, which is impossible to read.  I have upgraded MSXML, and done everything else I know to do.

There isn't a solution, but you're not the only one with a problem!  Everyone on that thread is suggesting opening a technical support ticket with Symantec.  The more people that complain, the better the chances of them actually doing something.

Hopefully there will be a solution soon!
