Hello,
In order to make a media appendable, you will need to configure the Append period as per your requirement. In order to do so, from the media tab, choose the media set in question, go to the properties tab and then set the append period. If you choose the 'infinite-allow append option', the media will be always appendable. You can then try the test run from job setup, test run under general tasks.
