How to restore oracle database in other machine

Hi,

Please anyone can teach me in a basic instruction and easiest way and easy to understand

We have a backup exec 2010R2 we used this to run schedule backup everyday with our Oracle Database 11g and stored in Tape Media device

Last two weeks ago i tried to restore in other machine from tape media i choosed date for example nov 14, 2011

then i set path where to restore or destination.

when i press run now its start to read it but theres something happened on

our ERP Live Production suddenly stop while im restoring in other server machine.

I found out that the data im restoring was transferred or overwrite in the ERP Live Production

i thought the path i select where to restore is ok.

So what i did is to stop it the restoring then i tried to run our ERP Database theres dbf are corrupted.

since we have backup i restored it.

Please i need help

I created new job restore and followed in the instruction

but i didnt see any files in the other server machine
